Three Potent Herbs to Brew in Water: Unblock the Liver Meridian, and Firmness Naturally Improves
As people get older, many men start to face difficulties in their intimate lives. There might be some response, but the firmness just isn't sufficient, leading to a loss of rigidity after only a few minutes. To address this, they often try various tonics and folk remedies, spending a lot of money without seeing any effect.
In daily life, they often feel their hands and feet are ice-cold, as if holding two pieces of ice. There's also a feeling of distention and pain in the perineum area, and intermittent distending pain on both sides of the ribs. Many people think this is due to bodily deficiency and aggressively tonify, only to find the situation worsens. In fact, the key to this problem isn't deficiency, but "stagnation" within the body.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Liver Meridian is like a "superhighway" in the body, responsible for transporting qi and blood to all parts of the body, especially the "ancestral tendon" (the male reproductive organs). Only with sufficient nourishment from qi and blood can it function properly. If the Liver Meridian is blocked by stagnant blood, qi and blood cannot flow through, and the ancestral tendon fails to receive nourishment, leading to a "shutdown"—manifesting as insufficient hardness and a tendency to become soft easily. Moreover, the liver governs free flow and drainage. Blockage of the Liver Meridian can also affect emotions, causing irritability and depression, which in turn worsen the stagnation of blood, forming a vicious cycle.
So, how can we resolve this "blockage"? Today, I will share three "powerful herbs": Cattail Pollen, Red Peony Root, and Frankincense.
Cattail Pollen is an herb that helps resolve blood stasis and stop bleeding. It acts like a diligent "street sweeper," gradually clearing away the stagnant blood accumulated in the Liver Meridian, allowing qi and blood to flow smoothly.
Red Peony Root is particularly effective at clearing heat, cooling the blood, dispersing stasis, and relieving pain. It works like a "master of unclogging pipes," dissolving the stagnant blood blocking the blood vessels, restoring their patency, so qi and blood can quickly reach the ancestral tendon.
Frankincense has the effects of promoting blood circulation, moving qi, and relieving pain. It not only helps turmeric and red peony to resolve stasis but also nourishes liver blood. When liver blood is sufficient, the liver meridian is nourished, the circulation of qi and blood becomes smoother, and the ancestral sinew (penis) receives better nourishment.
Combining these three herbs, they work synergistically to restore smooth circulation of qi and blood. Moreover, they are gentle in nature, promoting blood circulation without harming the body's vital qi, and resolving stasis without depleting primordial qi, making them safe and effective.
For mild symptoms, you can take appropriate amounts of turmeric, red peony, and frankincense, steep them in boiling water, and drink as a tea. Persist for a while, and you'll notice changes in your body.
For more severe symptoms, such as moderate to severe erectile dysfunction due to blood stasis, I recommend adding angelica and Szechuan lovage root to the decoction. Angelica is a sacred herb for replenishing blood, supplementing the body's deficient blood; Szechuan lovage root is a qi-moving herb in the blood, promoting the movement of qi and blood circulation, making them flow more quickly. Used together with turmeric, red peony, and frankincense, they enhance the power of replenishing blood and moving qi, resulting in stronger effects.
However, since each individual's physical condition is different, it's essential to consult a professional TCM physician for accurate syndrome differentiation before using any medication, to determine if one's erectile dysfunction is indeed caused by liver meridian blood stasis, and then treat accordingly. As long as the syndrome differentiation is correct, consistent use over a period of time will gradually improve the body's condition, helping you regain the vitality of youth.
