Two Master Classical Formulas to Energize the Sinews and Restore Blood Supply to the Corpus Cavernosum
In life, some of our brothers may have encountered this awkward situation: falling short at the critical moment with the sinews lacking vigor, which is truly disheartening. In fact, the essence of this issue lies in a disruption in the nourishment of Qi and Blood.
Let's first talk about Qi and Blood deficiency. Why does Qi and Blood deficiency occur? In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we say the Liver stores Blood and also governs essence. If one frequently depletes essence, it's like continuously pumping water from a reservoir—Liver Blood will inevitably become deficient. The sinews are like a tree; without the nourishment of Liver Blood as the "nutrient," their firmness naturally diminishes, akin to a tree lacking water with its leaves wilting.
Now, let's talk about the issue of blood and Qi stagnation. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it's said that dampness is sticky and turbid, and blood stasis obstructs, just like when the pipes at home are clogged with sludge—can water still flow smoothly? The same goes for blood: if it's blocked by dampness or blood stasis, it can't reach the ancestral sinew properly, leading to conditions like weakness, erectile dysfunction, or lack of firmness. Nowadays, many people tend to stay up late, sit for long periods, and are often overthinking, which is particularly prone to damaging liver blood. Think about it—staying up late is like keeping the body's "machine" running without rest; prolonged sitting is like letting machine parts rust without moving, and excessive worry is like adding too much burden to the machine. How can liver blood not be harmed?
Moreover, with improved living standards, excessive consumption of alcohol and rich foods can lead to the accumulation of damp-phlegm. Coupled with the high stress of modern life and emotional suppression, many people experience liver stagnation and blood stasis. So, addressing this issue is truly challenging.
But don’t worry—today, I’ll share two classic formulas that can help you promote blood and Qi circulation and clear the Yang pathway.
The first formula is Danggui Shaoyao San. This entire prescription is composed of six herbal ingredients. Angelica root combined with peony root serves as an excellent duo for nourishing Yin and blood, much like delivering ample "Qi and blood supplies" to the ancestral sinew to strengthen it. Poria cocos and white atractylodes help strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, effectively clearing out damp-phlegm stagnation in the body, akin to giving the body a thorough cleansing. Szechuan lovage rhizome and Alisma orientale promote blood circulation and clear the meridians, unblocking obstructed pathways and allowing blood to flow smoothly.
The second formula is the Four Rebellious Powder (Sini San). Bupleurum (Chaihu) and Bitter Orange (Zhike) can soothe the liver and relieve depression. Nowadays, many people are emotionally suppressed, with qi stagnant in the body. These two herbs act like two pipeline workers, clearing qi stagnation and blood stasis. White Peony Root (Baishao) and Licorice Root (Gancao), on the other hand, can relieve tension and pain. If flaccidity of the ancestral sinew (penis) is accompanied by soreness and weakness in the waist and knees, these two herbs can alleviate these symptoms, bringing comfort to the body.
Therefore, when these two formulas are used in combination, one focuses on unblocking and the other on supplementation—just like having two capable assistants for the body. One clears the pathways for Qi and blood, while the other enriches liver blood. Naturally, Qi and blood can then flow directly to the penis, ensuring we don't fall short at critical moments! If anyone in the family encounters issues in this area, it's advisable to consult a professional doctor and consider these two formulas.
Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes pattern differentiation and treatment, using different formulas for different symptoms to achieve effective healing. If you have similar conditions, the first step is to examine your tongue coating.
