Consolidate the essence, prolong duration, remember one formula to tonify the essence
Today I want to share a little secret formula for consolidating the kidneys. If you often feel "powerless," or are troubled by premature ejaculation, seminal leakage, or other minor issues, you should pay close attention.
Frankly, these problems are mostly caused by kidney deficiency. When kidney qi is insufficient, the kidney's "gate" cannot close tightly, and the valuable essence tends to leak out. With our fast-paced lives, high stress, and constant busyness, kidney qi is easily depleted. The more exhausted and anxious you become, the worse these problems get. Therefore, to improve, the key is to consolidate and tonify the kidneys.
I have a small prescription here with only four ingredients: Euryale ferox (qian shi), Rosa roxburghii (jin ying zi), Astragalus complanatus (sha yuan zi), and Nelumbo nucifera seeds (bai lian zi).
Euryale ferox grows in water and is hard; it acts like a “little lock” for the kidney, able to firmly retain kidney qi, and incidentally strengthens the spleen and tonifies the kidney—two benefits in one. Astragalus complanatus is also a good kidney tonic; it can nourish the liver and improve vision, and it helps regulate problems such as lumbar soreness, weakness of the legs, spermatorrhea, and premature ejaculation.
Rosa roxburghii, as the name suggests, is a treasure for stabilizing the kidney; it can make your “gate” close more tightly, and it is especially reliable for patients with urinary frequency. Finally, Nelumbo nucifera seeds can, together with Euryale ferox and Rosa roxburghii, help secure the kidney and also nourish the heart and calm the spirit, promoting smoother heart–kidney communication.
If you also feel your kidney essence or kidney qi is insufficient or that you don’t have enough endurance, you might try this small formula, adjusting appropriately according to individual circumstances. Remember, health is your own responsibility—take good care of it!
