Sometimes, male friends may find that at the "critical moment" they finish very quickly, and their "performance" is not good. This may actually be because we have not paid attention to moderation in daily life, have consumed too much "essence," and the body feels drained.

We must understand that kidney essence is like the body's "energy reserve"; if it is depleted, our qi and blood will be insufficient. Just like a car cannot run without fuel, our body will experience various problems due to deficient qi and blood. Moreover, if one simply focuses on tonifying the kidneys, the effect may not be obvious. Insufficient "hardness" and mid-act flaccidity are mainly due to qi and blood deficiency, which cannot adequately nourish our "important parts."

After insufficiency of qi and blood, our blood flow becomes slow, like a river with sluggish water where sediment easily accumulates in the channel. Likewise, in our body's circulation blood stasis is prone to occur, causing the meridians of the "important area" to be blocked, which in turn affects our "function."

So what to do? We need to find ways to tonify the kidneys and nourish the blood, circulate qi and invigorate the blood. Here I’m sharing a small prescription — it has only five herbs, but its effect is solid.

First, Cistanche salsa (rou cong rong) is the "boss" of this formula; it can warm and tonify kidney yang. Kidney yang is like the body's little stove that warms us. When this "little stove" is replenished, the "important area" can return to normal function.

Then there are two good helpers, Codonopsis pilosula (dang shen) and Angelica sinensis (dang gui). Codonopsis tonifies qi, and Angelica nourishes the blood; they act like the body's gas station, addressing qi and blood deficiency, allowing qi and blood to mutually generate and transform, and enhancing the effect of tonifying qi and blood.

Now let’s talk about Chuanxiong. It is known as a “qi herb in the blood”; it both activates blood and resolves stasis and moves qi to unblock the meridians. It’s like the body’s “cleaner,” able to clear away those blood stases and “debris,” allowing the meridians of our “important areas” to flow freely.

Finally, licorice acts like the “seasoning” of this formula — it tonifies the spleen, promotes the generation of qi and blood, and harmonizes the properties of the herbs, making the formula gentler and more effective.

So, these five medicinal ingredients work together like the body's "all-purpose warriors": they tonify kidney yang, replenish both qi and blood, and also unblock the tendons and vessels. For those who earlier overused and exhausted kidney essence from lack of restraint, resulting now in erectile difficulties and premature ejaculation, this formula can provide good therapeutic regulation. However, before using this formula, it's best to consult a professional physician and follow their advice.
