Winter is the high incidence season for psoriasis. Today, I will share one simple and effective coping method, especially suitable for those who are prone to flare-ups after consuming spicy food, staying up late, or experiencing emotional agitation.

This condition mostly belongs to the pattern of blood heat accumulating in the skin, with the core issue being reckless movement of blood heat within the body. Regulation requires a combined approach of clearing heat, cooling blood, and dispelling wind.Lithospermum + Sophora japonica + Imperata cylindricaThe classic compatibility precisely aligns with this pathogenesis, achieving the effect of clearing heat without harming healthy qi and cooling blood without causing stagnation.

How to determine if it belongs to the pattern of blood heat accumulating in the skin?

Remember these six words:Red, scaly, itchy, bleeding from scratching; additionally, dry mouth, red tongue with yellow coating. The more symptoms present, the more likely it is this syndrome type. Typical manifestations include bright red erythema, thick and easily shed scales, accompanied by heat signs such as dry mouth, irritability, and dry stools.

Medicinal Herb Efficacy:Lithospermum cools the blood and activates blood circulation, detoxifies and promotes eruption; Sophora japonica clears liver fire and cools the blood; Imperata cylindrica cools the blood and stops bleeding. The combination of these three ingredients can clear heat, cool the blood, dispel wind, and relieve itching, making it suitable for daily regulation.

Specific Usage:

1. Herbal Tea (for mild cases, recovery period, or relapse prevention): Wash the three herbs, steep in boiling water for 15 minutes, then drink.

2. Decoction for Oral Administration (for more pronounced symptoms, such as extensive erythema, severe itching, and abundant scaling): Soak the three medicinal herbs in water for 30 minutes, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Divide the decoction into two portions and take warm in the morning and evening.

Note:This method is only applicable to the pattern of blood heat accumulating in the skin and should be used after syndrome differentiation. Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and children should consult a professional physician and must not self-medicate.
