The upper jiao is not in love with the fire, the middle jiao is not connected and the stomach is bloated, and the lower jiao is not connected and there is a lot of nocturia, and traditional Chinese medicine is a trick to regulate
Hello everyone, I'm Dr. Wang. Friends, do you often have this kind of confusion: obviously you haven't eaten anything spicy, but your mouth always has ulcers, and your throat is dry and painful? The amount of food is not large, but the stomach is always bulging like a ball, and it keeps burping? I obviously didn't drink much water at night, but I always had to get up several times, I couldn't sleep well, and my waist was sore during the day?
In fact, in the eyes of traditional Chinese medicine, these seemingly unrelated symptoms are likely to point to a common root - the "three burners" pathway in our body is blocked!
What is Sanjiao?
Many people are unfamiliar with the word "sanjiao". In fact, you can think of it as an "invisible channel" running through our torso, a main road for the flow of qi, blood and body fluids. From top to bottom, it is divided into upper, middle, and lower focus, managing different areas and functions of our body.
Once there is a "traffic jam" on this "main road", all kinds of minor problems in the body will naturally follow.
1. The upper focus is blocked: the fire always rushes upwards, and every mouth is full of "gunpowder smell"
The upper jiao refers to the part above our chest, mainly including the heart and lungs.
Its core function is like a sophisticated "spraying system". The lungs inhale clear air and spray the water in the body evenly throughout the body like a spray to moisturize the skin and organs. The heart dominates the flow of blood and our spiritual emotions.
What happens if the upper focus is blocked?
Imagine that the sprinkler is blocked, the water cannot come out, and it is held in the pipe, the pressure is getting higher and higher, and the water temperature is getting higher and higher. In the same way, if the upper focus is blocked, the qi cannot descend smoothly, and the body fluids cannot be dispersed, and the accumulation in the upper body will turn into "fire" and "heat".
This kind of anger always likes to rush upwards, so you will appear:
In the mouth: dry mouth, no matter how much water you drink, you will not quench your thirst, the mouth will be bitter, and the mouth ulcers will recur.
On the face: the forehead and cheeks love acne, and the eyes are dry and swollen.
Throat: Sore throat and hoarseness.
Mood: Upset, easy to lose his temper, and can't sleep when he lies in bed at night.
At this time, many people will subconsciously drink herbal tea and take anti-inflammatory drugs, but the effect is often not good. Because the root cause is "congestion", not simply "inflammation". The idea of traditional Chinese medicine is to "clear heat and dredge it" to evacuate the fire blocked upstream. In terms of conditioning, I often refer to the idea of Coptis Shangqing Pills, use bitter cold medicines such as Coptis and gardenia to break the fire of the upper burn, and at the same time cooperate with other medicinal materials to guide the fire downward and "extinguish the fire and cool down" the upper body.
2. Middle jiao: everything is blocked, and the stomach becomes a "stuffy jar"
The middle jiao, located in the upper abdomen, is mainly our spleen and stomach, and can be called the "central kitchen" and "transportation hub" of the body.
The stomach is responsible for receiving and preliminarily decomposing food, while the spleen is responsible for further digesting these foods, transporting the most essential nutrients (called "water valley essence" in traditional Chinese medicine) to the heart and lungs, and then distributed throughout the body from the heart and lungs. At the same time, it also transports the metabolized "dampness" downward.
What happens if the central focus is blocked, the kitchen strikes, and the hub is paralyzed?
Food and water cannot be transported, and they all accumulate in the stomach and intestines. The nutrients that should rise cannot rise, the turbidity that should fall cannot fall, and the entire middle coke is in a mess.
As a result, you will feel:
Stomach: Stomach bloating, stomach blockage, eating a little is full, and even not hungry feels supported.
Intestines: Bloating, gurgling, frequent belching (hiccups), and sometimes pantothenic acid water.
Whole body: loss of appetite, no appetite when seeing, heavy and weak limbs, and mental exhaustion.
Tongue: The tongue coating usually becomes thick and greasy, like a layer of something that cannot be scraped off.
This is actually a typical "spleen and stomach qi stagnation" or "spleen deficiency and dampness". The "engine" of the spleen and stomach is not powered, and the food cannot be transported, and it accumulates and ferments, producing excess qi and dampness. The key to conditioning is to "strengthen the spleen and regulate qi, dissolve dampness and stomach", so that the "central kitchen" can be restored to operation. At this time, you can refer to the compatibility ideas of Xiangsha Liujunzi Pills, and use Codonopsis and Baizhu to strengthen the spleen and increase motivation; Use sand kernels and tangerine peel to gas and humidify to eliminate congestion and make the medium-coke gas machine smooth again.
3. Lower focus: Abnormal water metabolism, always running to the toilet at night
Lower jiao refers to the part below the navel, mainly including the kidney, bladder, large intestine, and small intestine.
You can understand it as the "boiler" and "sewer system" of our body. Kidney yang, like the fire in a boiler, is responsible for warming the whole body and providing energy for the transpiration and vaporization of water. The bladder and intestines are responsible for excreting metabolized wastewater and waste from the body.
If the coke is not working, it is likely that the "boiler" has insufficient firepower.
Once the kidney yang is deficient and the firepower is weakened, the water cannot be effectively "evaporated" and utilized, and it all becomes "wastewater" and goes down. At the same time, the power to control the "valve" (bladder) is weakened.
So, you will appear:
Urination: Nocturia is frequent, two or three times a night or more, which seriously affects sleep. Urine is long and abundant.
Waist and legs: The waist and knees are sore and weak, and the waist feels empty and has no strength.
Fear of cold: I am particularly afraid of cold, my hands and feet are always cold, and I can't warm up no matter how much I wear.
Lower extremities: Sometimes lower extremity edema occurs, one pit is pressed.
In this case, simple diuresis is a symptom but not a root cause. The wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine lies in "warming and nourishing kidney yang, transforming qi and water". In other words, the fire of the "boiler" should be burned vigorously, so that the body has the ability to manage and transport the water liquid. It is not a direct water-diluting medicine, but by warming and nourishing the yang energy in the kidney, the metabolic function of the entire lower jiao can be returned to normal, and the water can return to its place, and the problem of nocturia will naturally be solved.
To sum up:
The upper scorched blockage, such as "fire", should be clear;
Medium coke blockage, such as "stagnation", should be passed;
If you are "cold", you need to be warm.
Sanjiao, one pass is a hundred passes. It's like an interconnected whole, and if anything goes wrong in one link, it may affect the other two. Therefore, to condition the body, you can't treat headaches and feet, but start from this overall "channel" view.
